Monkey (Tai Shing Pek Kwar) is the most unsual style of Chinese martial arts. Founded in 1911, the art is also one of the most difficult to master. Filled with grabbing, rolling, low postures and quick movements, it is an extremely powerful and deadly artform.
Master Matsuda
Master Matsuda
Succeeding as the sole protege, Matsuda is the 6th Generation Grandmaster of the art (he prefers to be called master or sifu). He is the only active certified instructor in America and was inducted into the Martial Arts History Museum's Hall of Fame in 2004. He has graced 9 magazine covers, written 45 articles on Monkey and the author of 3 books.
