MONKEY KUNG FU
History & Tradiiton
by 6th Generation Grand Master Michael Matsuda

This is it, everything you ever wanted to know about Monkey Kung Fu (Tai Shing Pek Kwar). The history of the art as well as the art itself has been kept hidden for many generations. Sadly, only a small handful of people have completely mastered the art and they have kept the secrets to themselves. Well, as one of those masters, I have chosen the opposite. I have decided to open the art to the entire world so that all can enjoy the art of Monkey Kung Fu.

This book is a very detailed look at Monkey Kung Fu History (this is NOT A TECHNIQUE BOOK) so don’t expect to find a bunch of pictures of special techniques. This is a history book telling you everything about the art, how it was created, how the five monkeys were determined, the philosophy behind the art, the definition of each monkey and more. Monkey Kung Fu was designed as a very powerful artform, not a performance art where others put on a show on the tournament floor and screaming the whole time to get an audience to applaud them. This is real Monkey Kung Fu; powerful, unpredictable, unstable and unforgiving.

This is the most comprehensive and compete book on Monkey Kung Fu. From the only weapon in the monkey arsenal; the staff, to the misunderstandings of the art. Matsuda has written over 50 articles on Monkey Kung Fu, plus co-authored a number of other Monkey books in the past, but this a full and complete book of everything on Monkey Kung Fu. He has discontinued the other books and has released this one will all the information into one large, 200-plus page book.

OFFICIAL MONKEY KUNG FU
WORKOUT SHIRT

If you don’t have the silk top, you can always enjoy
the Tai Shing Pek Kwar workout t-shirt.

Monkey kung fu outfits are very rare. Each are hand made. The pants are more bagging because of all the unique moves we do in Monkey and of course, they are silk like those before. And always, black in color of humility. Making these outfits is just too expensive for us, but we do have a few items you may enjoy.
